• A 68 y.o. male with poorly controlled hypertension is admitted to Accident and Emergency with acute respiratory failure, cyanosis and basal rales - his second episode in two months. He is tachycardic (140/min), has ECG evidence of LVH and BP is 224/118. Is this a hypertensive 'emergency' or 'urgency'?
